Zendrop: AI Dropshipping & POD, our full review (reviews, installation, pricing)

What is Zendrop?

Zendrop is a dropshipping and print-on-demand sourcing platform that gives Shopify merchants access to a catalog of over 1 million products from US and global suppliers, with automated order fulfillment and tracking built in. It shows a 4.5/5 rating from 1,181 reviews, one of the larger review bases in the dropshipping category. There is no Built for Shopify badge on the listing. It's developed by Zendrop. It's the second dropshipping supplier app covered in this project after Dripshipper, though the two work differently: Dripshipper is a single-niche white-label coffee and tea roaster, while Zendrop is a general-catalog sourcing platform spanning many product categories.

How does the app work on a Shopify store?

Merchants browse a catalog of over 1 million items from US and international dropshipping suppliers and link products to their store. When an order comes in, Zendrop handles fulfillment and pushes shipping updates and tracking back automatically. The AI layer covers three things according to the listing: finding products across the catalog, generating product images, and generating a first set of ads. As a store grows, Zendrop adds custom packaging, custom branding, print-on-demand product creation, and 3PL fulfillment for merchants sourcing outside the catalog.

The app is available in English, Portuguese (Brazil), French, and German. It works with ADS, DSers and Oberlo, AliExpress dropshipping, Amazon dropship suppliers, international and USA dropshipping, POD custom product suppliers, Temu, and CJ dropshipping. It sits in two App Store categories, Dropshipping and Print on demand.

Why choose Zendrop over another dropshipping app?

The strongest argument for Zendrop is the combination of vetted USA suppliers and a general catalog. Most catalog-based dropshipping tools route heavily through AliExpress, which means long delivery windows. Domestic US sourcing shortens that, and it's the same logic that makes Dripshipper credible in its niche, applied to a much wider product range. Bundling print-on-demand and 3PL into the same app also means a merchant doesn't need a separate POD app once they move into custom products.

The pricing structure deserves a close look before committing. Zendrop is free to install, but the free plan explicitly allows no linked products. In practice that makes it a catalog browsing tier, not a selling tier. Actually running a store means moving to Beginner at $29/month for 1 to 20 linked products, Pro at $49/month for 21 to 100, or Plus at $79/month for 101 or more. Product and shipping costs sit on top of every tier, and the listing notes that external charges may be billed by Zendrop separately from the Shopify invoice, which is worth verifying against your accounting before you scale. The 20-product ceiling on the entry plan is tight for anyone testing multiple product angles at once, so the realistic starting point for an active store is closer to $49/month than the "free to install" headline suggests.

Two other points to check in hands-on testing. First, Zendrop AI access and custom branding are locked behind the paid tiers, so the AI features that the listing leads with are not part of the free experience at all. Second, a 4.5 rating across 1,181 reviews is solid but not exceptional in this category, and dropshipping suppliers in particular tend to accumulate complaints around shipping delays and stock accuracy rather than software bugs. Reading the recent one and two-star reviews specifically, rather than the overall score, is the useful exercise here.

What are the 3 main features of the app?

  1. Catalog of 1M+ products from vetted US and global dropshipping suppliers, with AI-assisted product discovery.
  2. Automated fulfillment and tracking, with orders processed and shipping updates pushed back to the store without manual handling.
  3. Custom branding, POD and 3PL, covering custom packaging, print-on-demand product creation, and fulfillment for items sourced outside the catalog.
