Joy (from the same Avada family as Joy Subscription and Joy Wishlist covered earlier in this project) is a flexible loyalty platform covering points, VIP tiers, paid membership and referrals across 30+ customizable touchpoints. It carries the **Built for Shopify** badge and shows a 4.9/5 rating on 1,687 reviews. It's developed by Joy Loyalty Program & Rewards, based in Hanoi, Vietnam, and launched in June 2021.

### How does the app work on a Shopify store?

Merchants reward customers for purchases and social actions (Instagram comments, story mentions, auto DM), build VIP tiers with paid membership options, and design on-brand experiences across a modern loyalty UI including a Loyalty Hub, in-cart redemption and Apple/Google Wallet passes. Shopify POS integration extends the program to in-person sales, and the top tier adds full headless commerce support (Hydrogen, Next.js). It covers 6 languages, including French, German and Spanish.
